Summary

Job Description

To manage the council's car park services, promote the commercial development of transportation & harbour services, and carry out related procurement, financial and other management functions

Requirements

Manage Moray Council's Car Park provision

Support and assist with commercial aspects of other transport functions including public transport and harbours

Provide assistance and advice on the running of the Transportation Service

The Individual

Minimum 1 year office management

Minimum 1 year Preparation and analysis of profit/loss accounts; monitoring of financial information reporting system

Developed IT skills; conversant with common packages

Minimum 1 year personnel management

Minimum 1 year in a Civil Engineering and/or contracted work environment

HNC or equivalent in Accounting

Knowledge of financial regulations

Knowledge of Civil Engineering, Roads Maintenance, and/or contracted works.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to prioritise tasks

Ability to work, and to manage the work or others, to a strict timetable to meet deadlines

Ability to deal with a wide range or personnel management issues

Ability to communicate successfully with a wide range of contracts

Ability to handle confidential and commercial information correctly

36.25 hours per week

£19.74 per hour
