Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to work for one of our clients on a long-term/temp to perm basis
The company is a well-known manufacturer of metal components and structures to a range of industry sectors including rail and construction and this is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and successful organisation.
Based in their modern premises in Burton on Trent the role will include the following duties:-
•Operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
•Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
•Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available.
•Measure and align materials to be used.
•Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
•Perform basic routine maintenance on the press brake.
Applicants must be experienced Press Brake Operators and be able to read and understand production drawings and schedules. A proven track record in setting and operating a Press Brake is essential
