Summary
We are seeking a Principal grade applied psychologist with a qualification in Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology to join our well established psychology team working into Offender Health. You will join a team of psychologists in Offender Health, but an even bigger (420 staff) psychological professions service in the trust. There will be opportunities to attend trust wide CPD events twice a year and to network. The successful applicant will be supported to attend external CPD training in line with their interests and the service needs. Flexible working will also be an option as part of this role. The duties and responsibilities of this post to be undertaken in accordance with policies, procedures and practices of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and with the Code of Conduct and Guidance on Professional Practice issued by the British Psychological Society. It is the post-holders responsibility to ensure they keep up-to-date with these policies and other policy documents. To support the Consultant Psychologist/ Mental health lead in developing effective treatment pathways. To identify and to advise service managers on those aspects of the service where psychological or organisation matters need addressing.
