ROLE PURPOSE



The principal responsibility of the Application Co-ordinator is to be the main point of contact for all individual equipment loan
and grant applicants/applications to Newlife. Working with internal and external stakeholders you will ensure that applications
are processed efficiently from start to end, in line with our processes and eligibility criteria. This role will be the main point
of contact for both families, professionals and suppliers once applications have been received. The role is fixed term, ending
21st January 2026.



ROLE KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



* Build and maintain relationships with parent/carers by preferred method of communication from start to end of process.
* Ensure any grant/loan applications meets eligibility criteria.
* Ensure all applications received are complete, and that personal/identifiable details are accurate.
* Ensure that any potential duplicate entries are explored and resolved before proceeding.
* Make a non-judgemental decision on applications in line with approvals process.
* Review, agree/challenge decision regarding prioritisation of equipment provision .
* Ensure relevant funds are available through finance before progressing application to authorisation.
* Co-ordinate assessments in liaison with suppliers and professionals.
* Be a key point of contact, building effective relationships with suppliers to ensure a facilitated process for the family from
start to end.
* Identify opportunities for advocacy referrals.
* Conduct impact reviews with family
* Identify and produce a written good news summary and liaise with marketing.
* Hit relevant targets set for this role.
* Attend awareness events.
* Raise safeguarding concerns to the Newlife’s Safeguarding Lead.



At times Newlife may request you carry out additional duties in line with this role.

* Knowledge of issues relating to children and/or disability.
* Experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Understand safeguarding processes/pathways.
