Summary
The Best Connection have a fantastic Bedford based opportunity at one of our established clients at their new site.
We are recruiting for Warehouse Production and experienced Assembly Operatives to work with the existing team to support the operations over the peak period.
Assembly operatives will need to have some experience of using hand held tools and have experience of working at pace to assemble items for dispatch.
Warehouse and production operatives duties will include picking large items from the racking, cutting, measuring and accurately labelling products for same day and next day delivery.
Shift: 09.00am - 18.00pm Monday - Friday
Pay: £12.21 - £13.00 per hour dependant on skills and experience.
Responsibilities and duties of the Assembly/ Operatives will include but are not limited to: Receiving unfinished products from the pick team to measure, cut and wire Carrying out checks on items received using the in-house guidelines. Preparing orders; cutting measuring and baling goods ready for dispatch General Warehouse duties including housekeeping and stock control Pick, pack and relabel stock including goods in and out as required. Working with other members of the team to achieve the scheduled processing of goods within agreed time frames. Other Requirements of the role: Previous warehouse experience desirable Attention to detail and ability to follow health and safety practices at all times Ability to work well within the team Good organisational skills Some heavy lifting up to 25kg and extended periods of standing and walking around the warehouse therefore candidates must be physically fit Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Weekly pay Pension contribution Online payslips
