As a Repairs Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in our Assets team, ensuring our properties are safe, well-maintained, and meet
high standards. You’ll be responsible for a variety of surveying tasks, including D2D (Day-to-Day) inspections, HHSRS (Housing
Health and Safety Rating System) assessments, Stock Condition surveys, and Forward Planning surveys, while also engaging with
customers to ensure excellent service delivery.




Key Responsibilities:




* Conduct a range of property surveys to assess condition, identify defects, and determine necessary repairs or improvements.
* Monitor contractor performance on-site, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
* Provide expert technical advice and liaise with customers, stakeholders, and contractors to resolve any issues.
* Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring swift resolution and a positive experience.
* Assess and design property adaptations to meet the needs of residents with disabilities.
* Prepare and issue work orders, including estimating costs and prioritising repairs.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, construction regulations, and best practices.
* Lead tenant consultations and engagement throughout the repair and maintenance process, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.




What We’re Looking For:




* Level 4 qualification in Construction or equivalent industry experience.
* Strong knowledge of construction legislation, contracts, and on-site health and safety requirements.
* Proven experience in conducting various building surveys and managing repairs.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
* A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
* Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel between sites using own vehicle (business insurance required).







Interview Process:

* Candidates will undertake an in-person interview consisting of competency-based questions and an on-site assessment.
