Summary
Bathroom Fitter required to start on the 7th April on a kitchen and bathrooms, social housing scheme in tenanted and void properties in and around Sheffield, Nottingham and Leicester.
The Client
Our client is a regional subcontractor who specialises in working with councils and housing associations within the Yorkshire and Midlands region.
Job Description
This contract is carrying out the following, these duties will vary depending on the type of work:
- Ripping out old bathroom suite.
- Installing baths/shower trays dependant on the property
- Installing wash hand basins and toilet cisterns
- Laying 3-4 courses of tiles around baths/wash hand basins
They require the candidate to perform the below;
- Be able to demonstrate high standards of Customer Excellence
- Determine the material required to carry out effective repairs
- Ability to work with vulnerable tenants
The working hours are 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 minute break, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is £22 per hour Umbrella/CIS or price work. Mileage is paid at 0.25p per mile. There is street parking available.
This position is for 3-6 months work but could be extended.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Plumber/Bathroom Fitter
- Social housing experience
- Transport
- Own Tools
- Must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before
