Staffline is recruiting Taste Panel Coordinator in Bodmin.

The rate of pay is £12.40 per hour.

This is a part-time role and the hours of work are:
- 9:30am to 13:30pm (can be adjusted)

Your Time at Work

As a Taste Panel Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing Samples: The worker will prepare food samples from production according to specific guidelines and standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy in portioning and presentation.
- Tasting and Evaluating: As part of the role, the worker will taste the prepared samples to assess quality, texture, and flavor, providing feedback if required.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: After preparing and tasting the samples, the worker will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the workspace, equipment, and utensils, ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are met.

- Manual Dexterity: The role involves handling kitchen tools, portioning food samples, and performing cleaning tasks, requiring good hand-eye coordination.
- General Mobility: The worker should be able to move efficiently within the kitchen environment to complete tasks effectively.
- Good attention to detail: The worker must ensure accuracy in preparing food samples, following guidelines precisely to maintain consistency and quality standards.
- Basic Food Safety and Hygiene Awareness: Understanding and following food hygiene and safety regulations is essential, especially when handling ingredients, tasting samples, and cleaning the workspace.
- Ability to Work Independently: As this is a solo role, the worker must be able to manage their time effectively, complete tasks efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized work environment without direct supervision.

No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, a basic understanding of food safety and hygiene would be beneficial. Any previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is an advantage but not essential, as full training can be provided.
