About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching for BTEC Science students. In this role, you will engage students in the study of various scientific disciplines, providing them with the knowledge and skills to succeed in their academic and future careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in BTEC Science to students at various levels.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lesson plans, assignments, and practical experiments that meet curriculum objectives.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them achieve their learning goals.
- Contribute to the development and review of course materials to ensure the program meets current academic and industry standards.
- Create an inclusive, dynamic, and motivating learning environment for students.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in Science or a related field (or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or a commitment to obtaining one.
- Experience teaching BTEC Science or a related qualification, preferably in further education.
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and practical applications.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
