Summary

The APC’s Optimisation Branch delivers organisational change, including digital transformation, across the outputs of the APC. The scope of the team touches every single member of the Army with a commensurate level of senior interest. You will be joining a dedicated team that works collaboratively and supports each other. The team has led the way with the development of innovative solutions for modernisation and embrace the use of these tools for everyone involved in the Army’s career management processes. The key areas of delivery and engagement are;

Support the Project Manager with the business activities that enable APC’s digital transformation goals and embed those changes in business operations. Identify and manage project risks and issues.
Deputy Product Owner for Digital Transfers. Assist the development of the Digital transfers into Career Management processes.
Point of Contact for user support and queries.
Digital Transfer engagement and communications lead – for professional users and customers.
Develop & deliver Digital Transfer application training– for professional users and customers.
Project Management – Work with Army and MOD stakeholders to achieve project outputs that are aligned and coherent with Army strategy, governance and best practice.
Information Management – Maintain project and user information using MOD business tools and applications.
Collaborative Working – Provide technical and delivery advice across APC and enable the organisation to define and achieve its digital objectives in support of Head APC vision.
Guidance and Support – Understand the Army’s career management processes and ensure user needs and project outcomes represent a balance of affordability, quality and timely delivery.

Leadership – Act as a digital advocate within the organisation, offering working and practitioner level best practice advice and guidance to APC team members
