This is a 24 month Fixed Term Contract.

The location of this role is Swindon where we offer hybrid working, you will be based in the Swindon office and from home.

What you will be doing

As Accounts Payable Supervisor you will supervise the accurate processing of all data to ensure payments are made to suppliers, grant recipients and staff within given service levels, using various financial systems.

You will Support the Accounts Payable Assistants in accurately processing supplier invoices, grants, payment requests and associated transactions (including BACS rejects, cancelled and uncleared cheques), in line with desk procedures.

You will assist in ensuring the efficient running of the purchase ledger module and associated processes including, but not limited to, invoice processing and matching, grants processing and month- and year-end processing.

A high level of numerical and verbal reasoning

Confident and articulate when communicating verbally or in writing with a range of people

Confident in training and supervising team work load

Take responsibility for your own work.

Good attention to detail

Experience in manging daily payment runs and month/year end processing

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to accounts payable processes.

Process Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
