Summary

Position Overview:
Avatar Dining Ltd, renowned for its specialized Indian and Nepalese dishes, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead and enhance the overall dining experience for our customers. The Customer Service Supervisor will play a key role in managing front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Front-of-House Operations:

Oversee day-to-day front-of-house activities, including greeting and seating customers, taking reservations, and managing the reception area.
Ensure a smooth flow of operations during peak and non-peak dining hours.
Customer Engagement:

Train and supervise front-of-house staff in delivering exceptional customer service.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Reservation Management:

Manage reservation systems and coordinate table assignments to optimize seating efficiency.
Work with the kitchen team to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions.
Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and other customer-facing roles.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and customer service skills.
Quality Control:

Ensure the presentation and cleanliness of the dining area meet high standards.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Customer Feedback:

Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Implement corrective measures and address any issues raised by customers.
Collaboration with Kitchen Team:

Collaborate with the kitchen team to facilitate smooth communication between front and back-of-house operations.
Ensure accurate and timely communication of orders and special requests to the kitchen staff.
Upselling and Promotion:

Encourage staff to upsell menu items and promote special dishes or promotions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies.
Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dining area.
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce relevant protocols.
Events and Special Occasions:

Coordinate and oversee events, private parties, and special occasions.
Ensure seamless execution of catering and events hosted at the restaurant.
Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on customer service metrics, reservation trends, and front-of-house performance.
Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience (2+ years) in a customer service supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Familiarity with reservation systems and front-of-house operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
