Summary
Job Title: Experienced Panel Wirers
Location: Leeds, UK
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (37.5 hours per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking skilled Panel Wirers to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility in Leeds. In this role, you will play a key part in the fitting and wiring of sub-assemblies and their installation into enclosures, ranging from small boxes to large motor control centres. Your work will include drilling, tapping, and other assembly tasks, wiring to detailed schematic drawings, and ensuring quality at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
• Wiring components according to schematic drawings.
• Fitting mounting rails, idents, trunking, and components onto metal backplates.
• Assembling wired components into enclosures, from small boxes to larger systems.
• Torque setting screws and bolts using calibrated equipment.
• Installing copper busbar systems.
• Completing quality checks and relevant documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in wiring control panels and/or assemblies.
• Equipment assembly, component, and cable wiring expertise.
• Proficient in panel preparation, including hole cutting and component mounting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, spanners, and ratchets.
• Ability to work to deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
