Summary
PERSONAL ASSISTANT/SUPPORT WORKER WANTED
TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED BUT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO A 30-YEAR-OLD WOMAN WHO HAS CEREBRAL PALSY AND EPILEPSY. AN EXTREMELY INDEPENDENT WHEELCHAIR USER WHO NEEDS EXTRA SUPPORT WITH LONDON LIFE AND WORK. SHE IS AN ACTOR AND WRITER LIVING IN EAST LONDON.
TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
HOUSE CHORES E.G COOKING, CLEANING, SHOPPING
ESCORTING HER AROUND LONDON VIA TAXI’S OR PUBLIC TRANSPORT
ESCORTING HER TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS, AUDITIONS/MEETINGS/REHEARSALS, LIVE PERFORMANCES ETC.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES, TYPING, SENDING EMAILS, INVOICES, KEEPING ON TOP OF TAX ADMIN
MANUAL HANDLING eg. Assistance using the toilet or getting dressed
ASSISTANCE WITH TAX
Is This You? Reliable, trustworthy, conscientious, friendly, computer literate, good communicator and listener, hardworking, caring and open minded?
Looking specifically for someone CONFIDENT IN COMPLETING TAX RELATED TASKS.
Monday to Friday shifts with occasional Saturdays. (flexible) Shifts ranging from 11am - 7pm (shift times are completely flexible and up to you). We ask for availability every month. £21.50 per hour on a self-employed contract.
All applicants welcome to apply and must be over 18 years of age.
English as a first spoken language is required or have a very fluent grasp of the language.
Please submit a CV, a brief Cover Letter (no longer than 1 page), 2 References required and will need a current enhanced DBS check/or be willing to undergo a DBS check. The expense for this will be covered by the client.
Interviews to take place over zoom asap then applicants may be invited for an in-person observation.
