We are seeking a dedicated Sports & Behaviour Support Assistant to join a well-established SEMH specific educational setting catering to students aged 4-16 with SEMH needs. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in sports who are keen to use their skills to engage and support students requiring additional guidance. While this position is primarily classroom-based, there will be opportunities to incorporate physical activities to enhance learning and behaviour management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, fostering engagement in learning.
- Utilise structured sports activities to promote positive behaviour and social development.
- Assist students in regulating emotions by implementing targeted support strategies.
- Offer both emotional and physical guidance, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space.
- Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver comprehensive student support.
- Implement effective behaviour management techniques to aid long-term student progress.

What We're Looking For:
- A background in sports, physical education, or coaching, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people.
- Experience supporting individuals with SEN or challenging behaviours in an educational or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with students.
- A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach, serving as a positive role model.
