An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 8b Senior Commissioning and Transformation Manager to join the Mental Health Commissioning Team within the Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Provider Collaborative (MHPC).
The post holder will provide senior leadership to the BSOL MHPC overseeing transformation projects in particular the NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (NHSTT) Programme, counselling and a range of secondary care-based community mental health teams including Community Mental Health Teams, Early Intervention services, Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams, Assertive Outreach Teams and Specialist Psychological Therapies.
The post holder will be responsible for providing effective transformation and commissioning management support to the MHPC, they will lead and oversee the implementation of a number of highly complex projects to ensure the programme aims are met, in particular the delivery of key priorities for NHSTT and community mental health services. They will be working with managers, clinical leads, service users, wider ICB/BSol partners as well as regional and wider national teams, to drive a range of significant projects as part of the programme, ensuring that these are implemented effectively.
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate the value of effective commissioning to all leads across the programme, ensuring that objectives are delivered on time and within budget, promoting and supporting a culture of continuous improvement. This is a high-profile role influencing all stakeholders in considering the needs of service users to bring about service improvements, in line with NHS England guidance and the post holder will need to proactively bring about change using the practices and disciplines of programme /service delivery.
This post will be a senior role within the programme and will be expected to lead on and partake in strategic discussions at all levels. They will be a focal point of contact for the Programme Team and will need to ensure that the execution of the duties are carried out in a timely, reliable, effective and efficient manner
