Summary
Upkeep Shettleston Community Enterprise is a community business providing various housing related services in and around the East End of Glasgow.
The domestic will work as part of a small team carrying out a range of cleaning tasks on behalf of Shettleston Housing Association and other clients. Due to the nature of the work, a reasonable level of fitness is required.
The work will involve contact with the public and employees should have a polite and friendly manner.
Duties would typically include the following:-
Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
Suction cleaning carpeted areas and “spot” cleaning carpets.
To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, and window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments.
To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) if required within the contract.
To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins
Deep cleaning and close cleaning
Preferrable but not essential - A valid driving licence
