Summary

A lovely family based in Oxford, Oxfordshire, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to assist with caring for their school-aged child while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of their home. They seek a practical, well-organized individual with prior experience working with school-aged children and a strong background in housekeeping within a private home setting. The role will primarily focus on housekeeping while the child is at school, with additional responsibilities including cooking and meal preparation for the family. A driver with a full driving license is preferred but not essential.

They prefer someone who has a good level of English. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, 30 hours per week

Duties include:

Changing bed linens regularly
Organising and maintaining wardrobes
Hoovering and mopping floors
Cleaning bathroom sinks and mirrors
Handling laundry and ironing, including washing, tumble-drying, folding, and sorting
Folding and putting away ironed clothes
Planning and organising fun and educational day trips
Engaging in interactive play, educational games, and arts and crafts
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks
Assisting an early school-aged child with reading and writing homework
Reading stories together to encourage early literacy
