Summary

We are looking for an experienced Administration Manager to join our HR team to lead, direct and manage the day to day HR operational activities and to help deliver a fantastic HR service to our employees, managers and the wider organisation.

The role & our team

The role of HR Administration Manager is to manage the administrative functions within the HR department, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with HR policies, procedures and processes.

You will be responsible for managing the HR Officer team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the operational side of HR. You will support the Head of HR and Employee Relations Lead in the smooth running of the service and be a key member of the HR management team.

The role encompasses all aspects of HR and you will be expected to develop and administer HR plans and procedures, plan, organise and control activities and actions of the HR department and contribute to the development of the HR department goals, objectives and systems.

You will provide oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation and benefits and training and development. Additionally you will need to support operations by supervising staff; planning, organising and implementing the required HR systems.

You will also be expected to carry out up to date maintenance of employee records and HR systems ensuring compliance.

As our HR Administration Manager, you will…

Have a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent or substantive experience in a similar role
Experience of working in a fast paced administrative team
Line management experience
Experience of working in a customer facing role & ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills
Ability to collaborate with colleagues to resolve problems and improve processes
Be competent in the use of an array of computer systems such as; Google G-Suite, Microsoft, HR systems.
It is not essential but we would welcome applications from a Public Sector background as well as those who have worked in a fast paced, ever changing environment and/or experience of working in a HR team.
