Summary
Role Overview
An exciting new role has arisen for a Procurement professional to join Scottish Borders Housing Association, a Registered Social Landlord, owning and managing 5,600 homes across the wide geography of the Scottish Borders. SBHA provides affordable rents across its communities, spending & investing around £20m each year in its properties to ensure high quality homes along with a 300 new build programme.

Supporting the Senior Procurement Adviser, you will work together to deliver innovative procurement strategies, collaboration and partnership models of delivery. Additionally, you will support the preparation of statutory annual returns and maintain accurate records of Contracts Awarded, Extensions required and Projected Pipeline.
Your responsibilities will include delivery of efficient tendering processes, contract management guidance supporting and developing skills and knowledge of colleagues across the business with procurement responsibility, to enhance assurance and control to the Executive Team and Board of Management.
You should have a minimum of 3 years' procurement experience at Officer level, and be MCIPS qualified or willing to work toward qualification within 4 years.
This role is office based and while we welcome flexible working requests, the successful candidate should be prepared to commute regularly to our office in Selkirk.
