Activities Co-ordinator
20 hours per week
Hourly rate of pay £12.41
We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Co-ordinator at Picktree Court Care Home in Chester-le-Street. Picktree Court is family run and caters for 62 older persons requiring residential care on the ground floor and first floor, with a further 26 beds on the second floor providing nursing care, all to an exceptionally high standard.
Applicants must have good working knowledge of Word and Excel packages as may be required to produce posters and newsletters. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not necessary as training could be given to the right applicant. The successful applicant will help create and implement physically and mentally stimulating activities for residents aged 65 and over. Fundraising for day trips and outings will form part of the role, so applicants with experience or new ideas for this type of activity would be ideal.
