Summary
Are you a Registered Nurse looking to temporarily change your working environment, and develop your knowledge and skill set? Complex Leg Ulcer Service can support you with a 12-month secondment opportunity based at Leg Ulcer Clinic, at Frederick Treves House, (GP Practice) Poundbury.
As a complex leg ulcer Staff Nurse, you will support the ongoing development of the nurse led Complex Leg Ulcer management service. You will provide evidence based professional advice on all aspects of leg ulcer management to patients and their carers. You must be confident with assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care. Support and training will be given.
This vacancy is a part time 12-month secondment role working 15 hours per week within the service, working a full day every Monday and Thursday. Extra hours on a bank agreement are available. Informal enquiries welcomed.
This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

This job entails working alongside a healthcare support worker to treat patients at the leg ulcer clinic at Frederick Treves House, Poundbury by providing individualised care and treatment.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
