Summary

Job Description

A three-shift rota that supports the 24/7 operation of the Clyde Tunnel is in operation, this includes regular night shifts and weekend working. There will be a further payment of £2,026.92 per year in addition to the salary and NSW/WCD payments covering two hours per week contractual overtime.

Reporting to the Operations team, you will have a supporting role operating the Clyde Tunnel including safe operating procedures and systems, risk management, inspections, maintenance, traffic management and incident response. Good communication skills, basic IT skills, cope with pressure, work alone and with others including external contractors are essential. A current driving licence is essential.

•Assisting the Tunnel Operations Controllers, Electrician & Contractors as required
•Control Room duties including operation of Supervisory computer control systems, CCTV, Door Entry, incident management,updating logs & fault reporting
•Patrol driver duties including incident response, tunnel network safety checks & traffic management
•General maintenance duties
•Emergency response
