As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you'll contribute to lesson planning, deliver engaging support programs, and take the lead in classroom settings when required.

What will you do?

*Implement systems of observation and record-keeping to effectively and regularly assess children's progress and achievements. Monitor the effectiveness of assessment procedures.
*Support pupils with special educational needs through the delivery of targeted learning programmes, contributing to individual education plan (IEHCP) targets and reviews.
*Evaluate pupils' progress using a range of assessment techniques.
*Meet the personal needs of pupils while promoting and encouraging their independence.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

*HLTA/Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent.
*Experience working with children with additional learning needs.
*A strong understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
*The ability to observe, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on pupils' progress.
*In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements for the care of children aged three to five years.
*A commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
*The legal right to work in the UK.
*A current DBS check or a willingness to obtain one through Hays.
