Summary
Personal Assistant-Aughton
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to an 18 year old male with learning difficulties within his own home and within the local community.
As a Personal Assistant your duties will include, supporting the client to access the community for walks, support with road safety awareness, accompany and assist the client on days out, and some aspects of personal care. The client loves to watch TV and listening to story books too.
We are looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience of working with or supporting children/adults with special needs would be advantageous but not essential. A positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A full UK driving license with access to a car is essential. The applicant must be of general good health and as the client likes to be active.
This is a part time position for 10 hours per week term time and 12 hours per week non term time with an hourly rate of £13.50 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance (the cost of which will be met by the employer).
