Summary
3 positions available
Must have previous experience as a religious worker and be of the Sikh faith. Must have knowledge of the holy scriptures the 'Sri Guru Granth Sahib' and follow 100% gurmat code of conduct and be of high character. Must be able to play the harmonium and/or tabla instrument as part of a group. Duties to include conducting religious ceremonies, preaching from the holy scriptures to the congregation, tending to deities
in accordance with the Sikh faith and related religious duties.
Experience is necessary of Gurbani prayer reading and singing hymns.
Applicants should have complete knowledge of Gurdwara routine morning, evening and daily prayers. Also knowledge of Panjabi reading and writing is essential. Meals and accommodation to be provided.
Wages will be according to UK employment law.
