Summary
Armstrong Group are a leading supplier of ready-mix concrete, stone, sand and other aggregate related products. We are a family run business which takes pride in excellent service across our five existing quarries.
We are continuing to grow, and as part of our expansion plans, we are looking for an experienced sales representative with proven experience in ready mix concrete sales for our Amix part of the group.
This is an excellent opportunity to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, strengthening the bond with existing customers, and to nurture new relationships going forward.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within all relevant sectors, including, but not limited to, construction, roadworks and pipelines into retail suppliers.
Expert knowledge to provide sound advice to all stakeholders regarding the supply of our products.
Liaising with our production and transport teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customer.
Raise the profile of the organisation by attending trade shows and networking events to generate leads and opportunities.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in sales, preferably within the concrete or aggregate industry.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Self-motivated with a results-oriented outlook.
· Ability to manage time effectively.
· A valid clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.
