Are you a Psychology graduate looking to kick-start your career working with children and young people with SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD? Do you want hands-on experience in a school setting before progressing into child psychology, speech and language therapy, or play therapy?

This is the perfect opportunity for aspiring Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, or Therapists to gain real-world experience working closely with students who require additional support.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small-group interventions to support emotional well-being and learning.
Use psychological principles to help students develop social skills, confidence, and self-regulation techniques.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to implement personalised learning plans.
Assist with academic support, sensory integration, and communication strategies for students with additional needs.
Help manage challenging behaviours using de-escalation and therapeutic approaches.
Track student progress and provide insights on emotional and cognitive development.

Who We're Looking For:

✔ A Psychology (or related) graduate passionate about child development and mental health.
✔ Someone who wants real experience before pursuing Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Play Therapy, or Speech & Language Therapy.
✔ A compassionate and patient individual with a strong interest in SEN, mental health, and neurodiversity.
✔ Experience working with children or young people (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential.
✔ A proactive, resilient, and empathetic personality, keen to make a difference.
