We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated, resilient, dedicated and caring individual to work as a special needs assistant with a child in Reception with a complex medical condition and social and emotional needs,. You will be supporting them to participate in planned learning activities and to support their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.

The ideal candidate for the role will be TA Level 2 qualified or equivalent with experience of supporting with teaching and learning a child with medical, social and emotional needs, in an educational setting. The ability to take direction from the Class Teacher to ensure all tasks and learning is undertaken within and outside of the classroom will be essential to being successful in this role.

The post holder must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
