This post is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with extensive nursing experience and leadership skills who is highly motivated, energetic and driven. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Divisional Triumvirate teams and Director of Nursing. You will professionally and clinically support the leadership of the nursing workforce for allocated service areas.
As the post holder you will be responsible for the provision of safe, quality and effective services, as well as day to day operational management of the services within your remit. You will ensure the Theatre and Perioperative Medicine services provide the highest standards of professional practice, budgetary and performance management, and service improvement at all times; driving quality in our services to ensure outstanding patient care is at the heart of all we do.
We are seeking to recruit an inspirational leader with the ability to provide strategic vision, clinical expertise and the ability to direct and influence change and to develop and support the operational and strategic portfolio. You will possess a demonstrable record of success in change management, service improvement and reduction of harm. The successful candidate will need to be able to continue to develop the workforce in order to meet the changing service demands.
