One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations are looking for a Pioneer Partner to join our team at EbbsfleetGarden City Fresh Expression in Kent. We aim to provide safe spaces where people can experience authentic, loving Christian community. The Pioneer Partner will play a pivotal role in facilitating this.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Pioneer Leader to develop and deliver the Fresh Expression’s spiritual and missional programme.
Lead and facilitate people’s Christian discipleship and exploration of Christian faith in creative and relevant ways in the context of the Fresh Expression.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the community and relevant external agencies.
Provide a safe, well presented and welcoming environment for all members of the community (ensuring equality of opportunity for all) where they can engage with community activities and receive support with a wide range of practical and spiritual needs.
Line manage recruitment and deployment of employees and volunteers.
Lead on managing the Fresh Expression budget.
Fulfil your duties in alignment with all relevant Salvation Army and statutory policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

A commitment to the Christian Faith and to following Jesus in your everyday life.
A desire to encourage and support others in their faith journey.
Previous experience of developing and managing church programmes including those for children and young people.
The ability to manage your own workload and meet objectives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to drive.

This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian, actively involved with your own Church and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of, and supportive of, the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
