Summary
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our supportive and dynamic Therapy Appointments Booking team at Wexham Park Hospital, providing a vital service managing referrals and bookings for Therapy outpatients.
• To provide a service for the booking patient Therapy appointments.
• You will be mainly based at Wexham Park Hospital in the General Therapy and Hand Therapy Receptions.
• To be responsible for managing clinicians’ diary templates
• To make sure that all new patients are registered
• To update patient information on systems, as and when required to ensure timely accurate data.
• To book new and follow up appointments in line with the Trust Access policy, ensuring patient choice and optimal use of staff diaries/clinics.
• To provide administrative support to any of the therapy outpatients services such as Physio, OT, Hand, Speech and Language and Podiatry.
• To provide administrative support to the Therapy outpatients service.
• To act as first point of contact (via reception and telephone) for all patients, staff and visitors to the therapy department.
• To liaise with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• To maintain an exemplary standard of customer care and patient confidentiality.
