Description
As a Retirement Housing Advisor at our company, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals and families with their retirement housing needs. You will provide guidance, support, and expert advice to help clients make informed decisions about their housing options during their golden years. Responsibilities
Assess clients' retirement housing needs and goals and provide personalized recommendations
Conduct in-depth research on retirement housing options, including independent living communities, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes
Provide clients with detailed information about the amenities, services, and costs associated with different retirement housing options
Assist clients in navigating the process of transitioning to a retirement housing facility, including helping with paperwork and coordinating moving logistics
Offer emotional support and reassurance to clients and their families throughout the decision-making process
Build and maintain relationships with retirement housing communities to stay up to date on available options and negotiate favorable terms for clients
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in retirement housing regulations to ensure the highest level of service to clients
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, or a related field
Previous experience working with seniors and/or in the retirement housing industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with clients
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of local retirement housing options, resources, and services
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to retirement housing
Proficiency in using computer software and online tools for research and client management
Hours Per Week: 30.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £15.00
