SAAS is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government and responsible for assessing and paying student funding for Scottish students in higher education throughout the UK. We administer budgets of around £1.4 billion each year, making payments to both educational institutions and over 165,000 students a year.
Our Recoveries Team sits within the Finance Directorate and is responsible for the recovery of overpayments and recovering money back into the public purse. As one of our Recoveries Officers, you will be responsible for adding any new debts to the debt management system and carrying out any follow up action that is required whether that be via email or telephone.
