Summary
Nelson and Colne College-Level 2 Railway Maintenance Course in Lancaster
Qualification: Level 2 NVQ in Railway Maintenance with technical certificate and Safety Critical Training. 6 weeks +10 days with employment opportunities.
Course start date: 31st of March 2025 with recurring courses
IAG Date: 19th of March at 10am and 1pm sessions (for course starting 31st March, candidates that sign up after this date I will contact and give the IAG online or over the phone)
IAG Location: The Storey, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster, LA1 1TH
Course Location: Carnforth Civic Hall & West Cost Railways for practical
Eligibility Criteria: Aged 19 before 31st of August 2024.
Lived in the UK for more than 3 years.
Right to work in the UK.
Unemployed or working but on low income less than £25k a year before tax.
If they are aged between 19-23, this must be their first level 2 qualification.
Must be non-devolved postcode home address: e.g. Lancashire and Cumbria.
Upon completion of the course there are employment opportunities which we find for students and support them in finding work.
