Summary

We have an opportunity within our busy Finance Section to join our small Income Team.

The job involves the reconciliation and accurate processing of all income received directly into the Council’s bank account, ensuring it is correctly allocated and reconciled. If you have great attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities we would like to hear from you.

You will be required to Investigate and allocate unidentified transactions received in the Council’s bank account via the Heycentric Income Management system, liaising with service areas, researching and contacting business customers via telephone and email.

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate you have the skills, experience and capabilities as described in the person specification.

Hours of work are 18.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – pattern to be discussed. This is a hybrid working role with a minimum of 1 day per week working in the office.
