Summary
Ensuring Financial Integrity: Maintain accuracy and integrity in the general ledger through detailed and timely transaction recording. Align financial processing with internal procedures and accounting principles. Driving Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports within set deadlines. Produce monthly management accounts and contribute to the annual statutory accounts and audit cycle. Providing Financial Insights: Analyse departmental and cost centre data, delivering actionable insights for management. Identify significant variances and trends, advising budget holders effectively. Supporting Business Strategy: Collaborate on rolling forecasts, year-end predictions, and budget performance reviews. Validate new expenditures and support business case development. Team Collaboration and Development: Liaise with finance team members to enhance data quality and reporting standards. Partner with financial and non-financial managers, offering guidance tailored to their needs.
