Summary
About the role
The role is responsible for securing and setting up packages of care and support from within the local marketplace for adults with assessed care needs.
Identify new care and support packages using Liquid Logic and broker these packages within established timeframes using existing provider frameworks.
Negotiate placement and package costs within agreed rates
Draft, send and manage the contracts with providers to ensure timely signing and implementation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to track vacancies, allocations and placements.
Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
About you
You will be an experienced Adult Social Care broker with knowledge of different client groups, with a keen eye for detail.
You will be able to communicate clearly, confidently and appropriately with colleagues using the best methods of communication.
You will have proven strong negotiation and influencing skills.
You will be able to demonstrate both agility and adaptability in mind set and ways of working.
You will be familiar with the use of Liquid Logic, Care Place and Care Cubed.
You will have knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and of the Care Act 2014.

The Brokerage Team supports Operational Teams in Adult Social Care by sourcing and commissioning services for Kingston residents who have been assessed as needing care and support. These services include Day Opportunities, Transport, Residential Placements, Supported Living and Care at Home Support.
