- Hourly rate: £12.12 p/h (will increase to £12.89 in April)
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in the industrial sector.
The ideal candidate will have a Forklift License, however if the licence has expired the client will arrange for a refresher course for the right person.
Be able to perform heavy lifting tasks. Individuals should be physically fit, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Must have Warehouse Experience
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse
- loading and unloading vehicles
- locating specific items around the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- stock preparation for production lines
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- keeping work area clean and tidy
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift License
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Perform physical tasks and be physically fit
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team
- previous experience working in a warehouse environment (minimum 1 year)
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
