MSE Effects HEO Middle East
Military Strategic Effects (MSE) is a branch led by a 1* military officer, sitting within Security Policy and Operations. The Effects team is one of six teams in MSE, and its focus is the systematic use of all means of communication to deliver National Security objectives by influencing the attitudes and behaviours of people. This role is in the Middle East Effects team.
The Middle East Effects team conceives, develops and executes strategic effect and influence operations to counter hostile states, focused on the Middle East and covering global links. Specific responsibilities include supporting the Iran Campaign Team, Middle East team and others in SPO to achieve Military Strategic Objectives that contribute to HMG strategies; developing and maintaining knowledge and insights into regional audiences and actors; cohering strategic effects in MOD and coordinating with PJHQ, US COCOMs, NATO, FCDO and OGDs; and representing Defence interests in xWH planning.
This post may occasionally require working out of hours. It is based in MOD Main Building and is primarily office-based.
