Summary

We are recruiting a Data Support Officer WCCIS at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time
Location: Tredomen

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Children’s Services Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £27,711 - £30,060 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The postholder will be the single contact point for dealing with the day to day enquiries across Children Services.



The role requires you to be a friendly, helpful, approachable individual who can provide an efficient and reliable service. You will also undertake face to face training of new staff and refresher training to existing staff as well as maintaining and updating User guides in line with any changes made.



The role also entails a high amount of Quality assurance of data – which links into various Data submissions. You will need to have good attention to detail and will be supported through your induction period to acquire a good understanding of the current processes and procedures in place.



For the role, we ask that you have:

A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
The ability to set priorities, managing the progress of own work in an environment where there are often competing demands.
Experience of working in an office environment.
Commitment to ongoing personal training and development.
