Position: Temporary (4 week) - Shopfitting Joiner
Shifts: 10 Hours per Day
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 2 Weeks
Job Description:
As a Shopfitting Joiner, you will be responsible for the installation and finishing of joinery in retail spaces. This is a physically demanding role, requiring precision and attention to detail. You will be expected to bring your own tools, wear full PPE, and have a valid CSCS card.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and fit out shopfitting elements such as shelving, counters, and display units.
- Work to high standards of craftsmanship, ensuring all work meets client specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for shopfitting purposes.
- Follow safety protocols and site rules, including wearing full PPE at all times.
- Ensure projects are completed within the set timeline (10-hour shifts).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shopfitting Joiner.
- Must bring your own tools and full PPE.
- A valid CSCS card is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to start immediately.
- Previous experience in retail fit-outs or similar projects preferred.
