Summary


We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Children & Young People’s Mental Health Team. This post is based at Ellen House in Preston

The post is 18.75 hours per week, working 9am – 12.45pm on Wednesday morning, 9am – 5pm Thursday and Friday. This is a permanent post within the team.

Qualifications needed: NVQ level 2 administrative qualification or equivalent experience, RSA 2 or equivalent, ECDL or equivalent experience.







This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a community based mental health service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This team includes psychological therapists, nurses, support time and recovery workers, social workers, occupational therapists and psychiatrists.

You must be able to provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise your workload effectively.

The work is varied, interesting and demanding and candidates need to be organised, flexible and reliable. We are looking for people who possess the ability to meet the demands of the service, and also to be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients and health care professionals.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
