Summary

Job title:
Compliance Assistant - Permanent, Part-time (2 days)

Overview of Job:
The Compliance Assistant will be part of a small team performing a ‘back-office’ function. The Compliance Assistant will report to the Compliance Manager.

The Compliance team ensures that everyone complies with internal requirements and external regulations.

EFT Finance Limited:
An independent finance broker specialising in helping businesses obtain the funding they need to grow. EFT Finance Limited has Appointed Representatives based throughout the UK and a small ‘back-office' function in Horsham.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Compliance Assistant:
• Checking documents submitted by the Appointed Representatives are compliant
• Liaising with Appointed Representatives
• Updating Excel spreadsheets
• Correctly storing information in OneDrive
• Any additional work as requested by Compliance Manager

Required qualifications and skills:
• GCSE Maths & English
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good knowledge of Windows Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive)

Preferred qualifications and skills:
• Previous ‘back-office’ experience in the finance industry

Successful candidate:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and an ability to be a team player. Able to work in a quiet office.

Location:
Ground floor of an old building which may be unsuitable for wheelchair users. Milnwood is a multi-occupied building, walking distance from Horsham train station and town centre. No parking available at the offices.
