We are looking for someone who:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)and at least three years’ teaching experience in Key Stage One or Two
• Has experience of, or a strong interest in, teaching children with C&I needs
• Understands the SEND Code of Practice and has experience of adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs
• Has the ability to lead and manage a team effectively, ensuring best practice across the provision
• Can create a stimulating, structured and engaging learning environment for pupils working below their key stage expectations
• Is confident in using assessment and EHCP outcomes to inform planning and next steps for pupils
• Is an excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and external agencies
• Is reflective, solution-focused, and committed to their own professional development

Cawston Grange Primary School is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new eight-place Communication and Interaction (C&I) Specialist Resource Provision (SRP)in September 2025. We are seeking an inspirational teacher to join our well-established and friendly team in leading this exciting new initiative.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a talented and ambitious teacher to shape the future of a new provision that will make a significant difference in the lives of children with communication and interaction needs. You will lead learning in a well-resourced, purpose-built environment, working closely with specialist teaching assistants, external professionals and parents to create a nurturing and personalised learning experience for every child.
