Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a fit out, refurbishment, and maintenance company in the Purley area who are looking for a brand new QS / Assistant Project Manager to join their team.
As a Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the team, contributing to a wide variety of projects, from surveying and providing quotations to supporting the contract management team on site. You will have the opportunity to develop your career and gain experience working with a range of stakeholders, while contributing to the company's growth and success.
About the Role:
- Conduct site visits to carry out surveys and provide detailed quotations for clients.
- Perform take-offs from drawings to prepare accurate and competitive quotations.
- Assist with the preparation of running accounts and final accounts.
- Support the development of project programs and schedules.
- Attend site meetings, collate variations, and assist in progress documentation.
- Monitor and document site progress, ensuring all work is carried out as per the agreed plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with the contract management team on various construction-related tasks and responsibilities
Key Info:
- A strong desire to grow and progress to a Contracts Manager role.
- Previous experience in quantity surveying or project management is beneficial.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently on-site.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
