CASS HOME/SCHOOL SUPPORT WORKER – 1 YEAR FIXED TERM
Learning together in a changing world creating, SUCCESS for all.
Trinity Fields is a special school for pupils aged between 3 and 19 years, with severe and complex needs. The school provides highly specialist provision on the main school site in Ystrad Mynach, as well as in its 8 satellite classes that are based in mainstream schools. We serve the County Borough of Caerphilly as well as having some pupils from neighbouring authorities. Trinity Fields is highly regarded by parents/carers and professionals alike. There are currently 308 children on roll.
Estyn (June 2019) judged us to be EXCELLENT in all 5 inspection areas.
The Caerphilly Autistic Spectrum Service (CASS) based at Trinity Fields school and Resource Centre is an innovative service for Autistic young people living in Caerphilly County Borough Council. The service provides support, advice and training for families, schools and other professionals in meeting the needs of Autistic young people. The service also directly supports young people in groups or on a 1:1 basis.
Our staff team are integral to the support network for Autistic young people across Caerphilly County Borough Council. To complement our current team we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed person to the following vacancy, Home/School Support Worker
We require a creative flexible, dynamic and hardworking individual who will enhance an already outstanding staff team.
Salary: Grade 8, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year, 1 year fixed term.

Your employment will be subject to satisfactory documentary evidence of registration, and continuing registration, as a Learning Support Assistant with the EWC.
Information on how to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) can be found on their website. It is your responsibility to ensure you register and continue to register as part of your terms and conditions of employment.
