Summary
The post holder will be responsible for: The post holder will carry out the associated procedures of specimen collection. Undertake specific duties involving direct and indirect care as identified by the needs of the service. This may include performing ECGs, for medical staff and Specialist practitioners to interpret. Blood samples required will be taken only as a result of an appropriately completed request from a Clinician. The work will be carried out in accordance with the detailed training programme given on commencement of service. Adherence to ANTT practise at all times. To be involved in annual assessments/IPR with their Senior Phlebotomist Take responsibility for undertaking own mandatory training and updates as required. Demonstrate skills and activities to others in similar roles and make a contribution as a team member to the training and support of learners.
