Summary
Qualified Teacher
We are seeking a Qualified Teacher with a passion for special educational needs (SEN) to join our supportive team. This role involves working with children aged 5-11 who have various needs, including ASD, MLD, and SLD, helping them to reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Key Details:
- Position: Qualified Teacher
- Location: Stafford
- Salary: Minimum of £83.33 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
- Contract: Temporary agency supply via Hays
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and inclusion.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with SEN coordinators.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching SEN children is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and frameworks.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of special education.
- Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
