Summary


We are looking to hire a permanent Physiotherapist Assistant for 27 hours a week.

To contribute to a high-quality physiotherapy service to older adults within the Doncaster mental health physiotherapy hub.

To provide support and ongoing treatment to allocated service users, assisting, and contributing to implemented care plans, programmes of care and therapeutic interventions.

To work across multiple areas within a hub for older people’s mental health the service comprising of, Inpatients- Windermere lodge and Adults, Doncaster Community teams and Hospital Liaison.

· To be responsible for an allocated number of individual service users, assisting and contributing to the planning implementation and review of care plans.

· To supportthe physiotherapists in assessment, supporting with treatment intervention and execute a therapy programme.

· To maintain accurate confidential written and electronic records and activity data in line with trust policies and procedures

· To work as a member of the multi-professional team

· To attend team meetings

· To use a range of verbal and non-verbal communication methods to communicate effectively with patients and carers to maximise rehabilitation potential.
